This is a collection of articles which have been photocopied from the scrapbooks of Agnes S. Harralson. Most concern coal production in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. Some articles describe the county as the top coal producer in Kentucky and in the United States. Other articles concern mine explosions and entrapments. There are also clippings about the death of Floyd Collins in Sand Cave in 1925.
